Virginia Williams is the founder and president of New View Media, formerly New View Films. She has over 15 years' experience consulting in media production, strategic communications, and public outreach for non-profits and international development firms.

Her award-winning social marketing /change campaigns have benefited organizations such as: The International Rescue Committe, Peace Corps, The Heroic Imagination Project, CDC, and the Alliance to End Homelessness.

Steve Armstrong of ARTiFACT, Buenos Aires, is chief editor for FRONTRUNNER. Over the past 18 years Steve has lent his creative talents to projects ranging from high-end commercials and feature film trailers to broadcast documetaries and PSAs about important social and environmental issues.

He's currently producing and directing the documentary Papertrail, a David and Goliath story that takes a look at the controversial construction of paper pulp mills on the Rio Uruguay and the people affected by them. MORE + RESUME

Halima Kazem We are pleased to have an Afghan-American co-producer to bring authenticity and cultural understanding to the FRONTRUNNER project. Since the Spring of 2002, Halima has spent months training Afghan journalists and reporting for various US and international media organizations.

Halima has produced segments for MSNBC News, PBS, and the Associated Press Television. She is currently a foreign correspondent for the Christian Science Monitor, and The LA Times, covering Central and South Asian Affairs. She recently won a 2002 Scripps-Howard Award for journalistic excellence for her report on Afghan women in prison. She holds a master's degree in Business and Economic Reporting from New York University and is the recipient of several prestigious scholarships, including one from the New York Financial Writer's Association (2002).

Susan Bryant has worn many hats in the production world, including associate producer, expert sound tech, writer, and general sanity keeper. She's nicknamed "McGiver" for her ability to get the crew out of perilous situations at a moments notice. (Ask her about Sundance, 2003.)

Amidst working worldwide for such renowned filmmakers as Barbara Kopple and the "Rose and Marion" team that created The Education of Shelby Knox, Susan is Executive Producing Gary Griffin's first feature film about a group of Czech kids coming of age during the Velvet Revolution.
